We're passionate about GOOD FOOD
and want to share that with you! Good food to us means delicious, fresh, natural, nutritious, local, and sustainable.
After meeting on an organic vegetable farm four years ago, some may say we were destined to start a farm together. We are Beth and Chris Leipler, and along with our son Dominic, we started Tioga Valley Farm in the fall of 2017. Together we have 7 years of experience working on organic CSA vegetable farms in the Buffalo region. We love the process of growing and preparing food, as well as the inevitable problem solving that comes along with farming!
Tioga Valley Farm is located in West Falls, NY on Route 240 or Davis Road. Situated in a valley, the farmland has been used for decades for crop production and pasture. The farm has a rich history, including many years of homesteading and raising dairy cows for Limburger cheese production! We will begin crop production of over 30 kinds of vegetables in April for the 2019 season.
We promise to grow all of our vegetables without the use of chemicals. That means that we will never use chemical fertilizers or sprays. We only use organic potting soils and soil amendments, and promise to never use genetically modified (GMO) seeds. We have signed the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York's Farmer's Pledge, which can be found here.
